We are brilliant and talented speaker repair specialists. We've been doing it since 1972, so there are very few speakers that we haven't worked on. We have repaired hundreds of examples of the more popular models, so we know their characteristics very well. Our brands page lists the stuff we've worked on, some household names, some truly obscure.
SPEAKER RECYCLING
As speaker repair folks, our primary focus is always to re-use when possible. If you have older speakers that you no longer want, that perhaps need renovation or repair, we may be able to repair and recycle them, but please phone us first.
ESTIMATES
For most passive speaker repair work, we provide free testing; sometimes while you wait. All of our work is covered by our 3-year parts and labour warranty. We even have a philosophy about doing a good job at a fair price. Pretty cerebral stuff for speaker repair guys. We have included some details about our history.
TURN-AROUND TIME
For professional speaker servicing, our turn-around target is 3 days, while hi-fi speakers are generally repaired in 7 days. That being said, some speakers, particularly older ones, can take quite a while longer if parts aren’t readily available. We keep thousands of parts in stock, but if a part is not in stock, it can be daunting to find some more obscure stuff. Our workshop is very small, so we appreciate customers picking up their repaired speakers promptly.

JBL 2231 REPRODUCTIONS
We build superb, faithful reproductions of the classic JBL 2231A, built into reclaimed JBL frames, using original JBL 13lb Alnico-V magnet structures.
CERAMIC FERRITE MAGNET REPAIR
We can repair split or broken ceramic ferrite magnets. This unusual problem primarily affects Yamaha, Eminence, RCF and Mackie speakers. Our structural repairs return these 'write-offs' to 100% original performance.
